Beijing, August 9-12, 2012--China Heart Congress (CHC) 2012 was held in Beijing. The theme of CHC2012 is "Healthy Heart, Better Life--Prevention, Translation, and Cooperation". The meeting provided various communication platform including lectures, presentations, topic summits, clinical case study, forums, live surgical demonstrations and others.
On August 11, MicroPort held a satellite symposium about the Firehawk in Shanghai. The following members presided over the meets. They are the president Weifeng Shen from Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, President Yalin Han from Shenyang PLA General Hospital, Shubin Qiao, Director of Beijing Hu Wai Hospital, president Zuyi Yuan from First Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Xian Jiaotong University, and Zhizhong Li, Director of Affiliated An Zhen Hospital of Capital University of Medical Sciences.
During the symposium, Bo Xu, Director of Beijing Hu Wai Hospital presented the latest clinical progress of MicroPort Firehawk Rapamycin Target Eluting Coronary CoCr Stent System, and announced that the clinical study results will be published on TCT2012. Some invited doctors and physicians also offered case-based presentations on the Firehawk and highly praised it as "only one of its kind. Qiyi Luo, Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer of MicroPort, appreciated the comments and restated that MicroPort will be continually pursuing the goal of developing leading technologies for physicians and providing life-saving solutions and treatments for patients.
