Four MicroPort Programs Selected as 2012 National Key Technology R&D Program for the 12th Five-year Plan
Shanghai, 29 September, 2012--the STCSM (Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality) published the results of 2012 National Key Technology R&D Projects f Four MicroPort‘s projects have been selected and the total applied funds reached 11.1 million RMB.
Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co., Ltd. submitted the project of Research &Development of Domestic Implantable Dual-chamber Pacemaker System. The project is primarily conducted by MicroPort. Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University and Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine offer technical support and conductanimal studies and clinical research.
Programs of Trans-septalGuide Catheter R&D and New Type Insulin Pump R&D, submitted by Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. and MicroPort Lifesciences (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. respectively, were selected as the 2012 National Key Technology R&D Projects for the 12th Five-year Plan.
In addition, the project of Drug Coated Intramedullary Nail and Related Key Technology Research, conductedby Shanghai MicroPort Orthopedics Co., Ltd., was also honorably being selected into this project.
