Seoul, South Korea – From October 12 to October 15, Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. ("MicroPort® EP") attended the 9th Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society Scientific Session ("APHRS 2016") with more than 500 experts from 50 countries in attendance. During its first appearance in the APHRS annual meeting, MicroPort® EP displayed several innovative devices including FireMagic® Cardiac RF Ablation Catheter, FireMagic® Irrigated Ablation Catheter, and EasyFinder™ Electrophysiology Diagnostic Catheter, which attracted wide attention from the attendees.
On October 14, Shih-Ann Chen, former chairman of APHRS and Director of Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and Dr. Zahid Aslam Awan, Chairman of Pakistan Heart Rhythm Society and Head of Cardiology at Hayatabad Medical Complex, exchanged ideas with MicroPort® EP staff in terms of the Asia-Pacific electrophysiology market, medical insurance affairs as well as the experience in supporting physicians to get professional training. Dr. Awan visited the MicroPort® EP booth and had hand-on experience with catheter products. He spoke highly of MicroPort® EP catheter for it is easy to manipulate and with outstanding torqueability.
South Korean electrophysiologist Dr. Kim also visited MicroPort® EP booth, and he recognized the comprehensive solution that MicroPort® EP provides to physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of complex arrhythmias, and said he has full confidence in MicroPort® brand and products, and looked forward to cooperating with MicroPort® to serve patients.
By engaging in international cooperation and academic exchange in APHRS 2016, MicroPort® EP increased its innovation capability and the awareness of its brand, which is expected to help promote its products to benefit more patients.
