MicroPort Celebrates 16th Anniversary and Headquarter Relocation
Shanghai, China – 15 May, 2014 – MicroPort Scientific Corporation ("MicroPort") today celebrates its 16th anniversary in its new headquarter located on 1601 Zhangdong Road of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. Dr. Zhaohua Chang, Founder, Chairman and CEO of MicroPort and Shoujun Wang, General Manager of China National Nuclear Corporation that undertook the construction project, jointly cut the ribbon at the completion ceremony of the headquarter. Afterwards, Dr. Chang and Mr. Wang, together with 10 employee representatives, unveiled the signage for MicroPort Scientific Corporation.
On the same day, MicroPort Research & Engineering Academy was officially launched by Zhenquan Cao, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality and Qiyi Luo, Chief Technology Officer of MicroPort.
The new headquarter was open to employees and their families on the memorable day for MicroPort which also happened to be the 21th international family day. Special activities such as barbeque were prepared for them during the celebration.
