On September 24th, 2012, the date of two-year anniversary of being listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, MicroPort Medical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has officially been renamed Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co., Ltd.. The change of name is to reflect thecompany’s diversification strategyand the growing number of different medical devices offered by the company.
Currently, there are five wholly-owned subsidiaries of the group, including MicroPort Orthopedics Shanghai Co., Ltd., MicroPort EP MedTech Shanghai Co., Ltd., MicroPort Lifesciences (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.,MicroPort Medical (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd Co., Ltd., and MicroPort Surgical Co., Ltd..
