Bali, Indonesia – The 25th Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) International Conference "Pursuing Excellence, Futureproofing Sustainability" was held in Bali, Indonesia from October 14 to 16. Shanghai MicroPort Medical (Group) Co., Ltd. ("MicroPort®") became the first Chinese company to be awarded the APQO Innovation Class Award that was created in the 2019 edition of the APQO International conference.
The APQO was established in 1985 and is an autonomous, apolitical, non-profit international science and technology organization formed to be a primary mover for quality and continuous improvement for goods and services and quality of life in the Asia Pacific Region. It is currently represented by 51 national quality organizations. The APQO Innovation Class Award is awarded to the organizations with good performance and the innovations benefiting each segment of the customer base along with organizational sustainability.

The APQO APQO Innovation Class for MicroPort® signifies that MicroPort® has been highly recognized for its excellence in quality management and innovation capacity once again.
